BRANDON GRIMES FIRST-DEGREE MURDER AND ATTEMPTED ROBBERY DEADLY WEAPON TRIAL SCHEDULED

FOR THURSDAY, MAY 29, 2008

 

 

            Baltimore, MD – May 28, 2008 – The trial of Brandon Grimes, 23, of the 800 block of Cator Ave. is scheduled for 9:30AM tomorrow before Judge Gale E. Rasin, 509 Courthouse East, 111 N. Calvert St.

 

            The Baltimore City Grand Jury indicted Grimes February 12, 2007 for first-degree murder and attempted robbery deadly weapon.

 

            Court documents allege on January 9, 2007 Brandon Grimes fatally shot Baltimore Police Detective Troy Lamont Chesley, Sr. in the 4500 block of Fairfax Rd.

 

            Assistant State’s Attorney Kevin Wiggins of the Homicide Division will prosecute this case.
