BRANDON HOLLAND MURDER TRIAL SCHEDULED

TO BEGIN TUESDAY, JULY 1, 2008

Baltimore, MD – June 30, 2008 – The murder trial of Brandon Holland, 26, of the 3800 block of Delverne Road is scheduled to begin 9:30AM tomorrow before Judge Gale E. Rasin, 509 Courthouse East, 111 North Calvert Street.

The Baltimore Grand Jury indicted Holland December 19, 2007 for first-degree murder and handgun charges.

Court documents allege on August 1, 2007 witness(es) identified Holland as the person responsible for a shooting incident in the 2400 block of Westwood Avenue. Carl Eugene Barnes was found shot several times.

Holland remains held without bail at the Baltimore City Detention Center. Assistant State’s Attorney Douglas Guidorizzi will prosecute this case.
