8.8.11: Pearson Pleads Guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin

August 8, 2011 -- Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lawrence P. Fletcher-Hill sentenced Felicia M. Pearson today to seven years in prison, with all but time served suspended, and three years of supervised probation, following Pearson's plea of guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin.

Pearson, 31, is one of 64 people charged in March 2011 as part of an alleged east Baltimore drug gang.

Through surveillance and intercepted phone calls, it was determined that Pearson furthered a conspiracy to distribute heroin by allowing a co-defendant to occasionally use her apartment to store narcotics and money. Pearson also occasionally sold heroin.

Assistant State's Attorney Rebecca Finn prosecuted the case.
