3.8.11: Jefferson Sentenced To Life Plus 20 for Murder on The Alameda
March 8, 2011 -- Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Stuart Berger sentenced Kevon P. Jefferson today to life in prison plus 20 years for the 2009 fatal shooting of a man in the Northeastern District.
At about 3:15 p.m. on July 13, 2009, Jefferson ended an argument with Antwon Witherspoon in the 2900 block of The Alameda by shooting and killing him. A jury convicted Jefferson, 19, in January 2011.
Assistant State's Attorney Bethany Durand prosecuted the case.
