Baltimore, Md. (May 22, 2023) - Today, State’s Attorney Ivan J. Bates announced the indictment of former Baltimore Police Officer Larry Tucker that the State’s Attorney’s Office Public Trust and Police Integrity Unit will prosecute. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at trial.
“I hope this indictment motivates victims to come forward regardless of how much time has passed or who the perpetrator is. No one is above accountability,” said State’s Attorney Ivan J. Bates. “I applaud my Public Trust and Police Integrity Unit for securing this indictment and beginning the pursuit of justice for the victims. I also thank Maryland State Police for their partnership and essential collaboration in this case.”
A Baltimore City Grand Jury issued an indictment on May 17, 2023, charging Tucker with nine felony counts of sex abuse of a minor, two felony counts of sexual solicitation of a minor, two felony counts of child pornography, two counts of conspiracy to commit sexual offense in the third degree, and one misdemeanor count conspiracy to commit sexual offense in the fourth degree.
