Office of the State's Attorney for Baltimore City

For Immediate Release 2/2/2015

Newly elected Baltimore City State’s Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, announced several new hires to her administration Monday morning.

WJZ-TV News reporter, Rochelle Ritchie, was announced as Mosby’s Director of Communications. Ritchie brings more than a decade of journalism experience to the office. Former Baltimore City Assistant Solicitor and Baltimore County Assistant State’s Attorney, Kristin Blumer, joins Mosby’s administration as her Director of Community Affairs.

Mosby also hired two O’Malley StateStat veterans, Ronojoy Sen and Shelley Spruill. Sen will be the Lead Criminal Intelligence Analyst for Mosby’s new Criminal Intelligence Unit, and Spruill— the former StateStat Deputy Director— will be responsible for policy analysis and grant acquisitions.

“I’m really excited that these four are joining my team. They’re all dedicated public servants, and I can’t wait to see what they bring to the office. I know they’ll all be successful in their new roles.” Mosby said.
