Jesse Halvorsen
Deputy State's Attorney
Jesse Halvorsen serves as the Deputy State’s Attorney for the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office. Halvorsen received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Chicago and his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law. He worked in various private practice litigation settings for 10 years before becoming a prosecutor in 2001. He has spent most of the last 25 years working as a government lawyer. In the State’s Attorney’s Office, he has significant experience prosecuting Homicides, Gun Violence, Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, and Economic Crimes, and most recently served as the Division Chief of the Special Victims Unit.
