Ivan Bates sworn in as city State’s Attorney
Longtime defense attorney Ivan Bates was sworn in Tuesday as Baltimore’s top prosecutor.

"I think it's very important. As a state's attorney, I need to make sure the citizens know who I am, that I'm out there and I'm listening to them and their concerns," Bates said.
Dozens Released From Baltimore Jails, Prisons
